Description

Do your students and staff want to do something more for climate change that creates a large positive impact? The Beyond Doom and Gloom: Climate Solutions initiative is collaborating with college students, staff and faculty interested in climate solutions. This opportunity has been developed by two networks of sixty national higher education associations – HEASC and DANS. Many climate-related governmental policy decisions are being made at the regional and state levels. Students, staff and faculty can become national Fellows, and students needing a project or internship can contribute too. Connect your campus with regional and state-level climate and environmental organizations offering civic engagement opportunities and policy updates. HEASC will support you through our 3 easy steps for success, regular check-ins, templates, and a connection with a network of other Sustainability Policy Partners, already active in over 35 states. This webinar will also introduce the World Bank – UNEP webinar on higher education and green economy careers that Debra is moderating on Feb. 25th.
