Description

JWCC's new Sustainable Local Foods Farming program provides courses and hands-on training in sustainable fruit and vegetable production, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Students gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to be successful agricultural entrepreneurs in this emerging industry. Hands-on courses are taught at JWCC's demonstration market garden, located on the Quincy campus. The three-term sequence (fall, spring, and summer terms) includes 6 courses.
