The Universidad Tecnológica de Uruguay offers, in collaboration with the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the Postgraduate Program in Biosciences and Food Sustainability, which is made up of four postgraduate courses: Diploma in Biosciences and Food Sustainability (12 months) Specialization in Biosciences and Food Sustainability (12 months) Academic Master's Degree in Biosciences and Food Sustainability (24 months) Professional Master's Degree in Biosciences and Food Sustainability (24 months) The Postgraduate Program in Biosciences and Food Sustainability was created with a current, dynamic and modern approach associated with the food, industrial and environmental areas. It was created to provide greater opportunities for postgraduate training in the areas of Chemical Sciences, Biology, Nutrition and Biotechnology related to food. In addition, it combines the analysis and quality control of food with its biochemical structure and functionality, covering plant, animal, industrial, environmental and human health biotechnology. This program is offered through strategic alliances between UTEC and other leading universities, including the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC), the Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM) and the University of the Republic (Udelar).
