Description

AgroEcology is an interdisciplinary major shared between Penn State's Departments of Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology and Plant Pathology. While our majors are rooted in the plant sciences, they take classes throughout the University to gain a holistic understanding of how agricultural ecosystems work and the science of sustainable agriculture. Through coursework and internships, students learn real-world problem solving skills, which places our graduates in high demand. If you have an interest in agriculture and the environment, AgEco could be right for you!
