Graduates of the MPH in Environmental Epidemiology program gain critical skills for understanding and protecting public health in relation to environmental factors. They learn how policies and regulations impact environmental health efforts and study major environmental and occupational contaminants to understand their effects on human health. They develop expertise in sourcing and evaluating epidemiologic data, identifying risk factors, and applying advanced methods to analyze health outcomes. Graduates are trained to critically assess epidemiologic research, design public health interventions, address ethical challenges, and interpret policy implications from research findings. These competencies prepare them to effectively address public health issues with an informed, ethical, and policy-aware approach.
