Description

Interdisciplinary minor that focuses on the differential exposures to environmental burdens and differential access to environmental benefits experienced by diverse human and non-human groups. The minor allows students to explore the social, cultural, economic, and environmental sources of this differential exposure or access. Students minoring in EJ will explore the history of environmental injustice and the ways in which impacted communities adapt to, respond to, and/or resist these injustices. EJ minors also will investigate ways to work toward a more environmentally just society. A
