The Social Justice Educational Studies MPS program at SUNY New Paltz prepares professionals in education, activist, and human services fields to be leaders in their workplaces and their communities. Because we live in a world where difference is not only undeniable but matters in crucial ways, our teaching and learning practices are rooted in a critical understanding of sustainability that centers social justice education as necessary to transforming social, economic, and environmental inequities.
