Description
The purpose of this environmental planning certificate is to train students to understand environmental issues and address environmental problems, with a body of knowledge that integrates physical environment and human societies. Currently, there are no certificate, or academic, programs at Fresno State that would prepare students to investigate, and address, environmental problems in a systematic manner, in conjunction with their particular field of study. The environmental planning certificate was designed to address the lack of such a program and to enable students from a variety of disciplines to acquire an understanding of the legal, scientific, and planning methods used to address environmental concerns
