Description

Students who pursue the STEPPS minor are interested in how science and politics relate to one another. It is designed for both science and non-science majors, and allows students to personalize their classes to allow them to pursue specific science policy topics that interest them. STEPPS is a unique cross-collegiate program that brings together James Madison College, Lyman Briggs College, and the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. Drawing on the energies of these three programs, STEPPS will train students in public policy that relates to science, technological change, and environmental science to promote change, become leaders and formulate effective public policy.
