Description
The Minor in Environmental Sustainability is open to students of any major who wish to study the environment from interdisciplinary perspectives. Environmental sustainability is an interdisciplinary field that integrates natural and social sciences, humanities, arts, and education in pursuit of balancing human needs and ecological well-being. Environmental professionals research the environmental impacts of human behaviors and what drives these outcomes. Environmental sustainability considers the role of humans in nature and often views humans as embedded within environmental systems.
