Description

Develop a deep understanding of ecological and physical earth systems, the effects of human activities on these systems and how we can alter these patterns to produce more-desirable outcomes. Students who major in the field earn a bachelor of arts in Environmental Studies: Policy, Culture & Society or Applied Sustainability.

Students who complete the Policy, Culture & Society program gain a deep understanding of their concentration area in economics, history, philosophy or politics and government, informed by a complementary study of environmental issues.

Applied Sustainability students combine the fundamentals of ecology and permaculture with social sciences and humanities as they seek solutions to complex global challenges.
