Environmental Policy Minor
Students minoring in environmental policy gain basic knowledge of environmental science, along with the economics, politics, history and ethics that play into decisions related to the environment. They obtain the understanding to effectively participate in decisions that affect environmental resources, as well as technical skills — such as spreadsheet analysis, GIS mapping and lab sciences — that will serve them well in multiple fields.
Students who complete a minor in environmental policy are prepared to participate in decisions and policymaking related to environmental issues. Students may add the environmental policy minor to a wide range of majors to enhance their career opportunities. Pacific University graduates work in education, public health, policymaking, art and other fields.
