Description
This three-year program provides students with a strong basic knowledge of Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology with focus on the concepts of air, water and waste water management. In particular, the program emphasizes in-depth training in the principles and procedures of measurement and analysis techniques, and legislation for air, water and waste. The environmental course curriculum includes bacteriology, analytical chemistry, air pollution meteorology, water quality management, industrial hygiene and hydrogeology.
Graduates of the program are eligible for advanced standing in the Bachelor of Science program (Environmental Science and/or Chemistry major) at Western University as well as several other universities in the province, outside the province and overseas.
