Description

The online MS in Environmental Safety & Health focuses on the needs of businesses and organizations to effectively manage complex environmental safety and health issues in the workplace. The program addresses vital issues beyond traditional regulatory compliance as risk management, environmental stewardship, and sustainability concerns receive increasing attention from employers, communities, and government. Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) graduates are concerned with the interaction between people and the physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial factors that affect safety, health, and productivity. The goal of the MS in ESH program is to deliver a two-year interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates previous and new learning experiences, which enhances the student's intellect, scientific expertise, and professional integrity. The instructional body is made up of professionals with advanced degrees in engineering and science, and with wide experience in industry, government, and academia.
