The Geography major at SUNY New Paltz offers an environmental concentration program which focuses on sustainability. This concentration consists of 45-47 credits and includes courses focused on the social, cultural, and economic aspects of sustainability. These courses include Human Geography, People-Environment Geography, Economic Geography, Gender and Environment, Geography, Health & Environment, and Natural Resource Utilization and Management, among other courses.
