Green Mountain College’s sustainable business program will teach students how businesses, both for profit and non-profit, succeed financially while also contributing to the environment and social justice. It’s often called the “triple bottom line approach” (people, planet, profit) which looks at organizational success in economic, environmental and social terms.
GMC's sustainable business curriculum prepares graduates for successful careers in the growing green jobs sector, and to be successful entrepreneurs. GMC, places a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship while providing a solid foundation in finance, accounting, marketing, organizational leadership and ethics.
