The Environmental Studies program strives for a broad understanding of the relationships between humans and the environment. Students explore and cultivate the skills necessary to search for long-term, sustainable solutions on the local, regional, national, and international levels to environmental problems such as climate change, population growth, energy and peak oil, resource shortages, loss of biodiversity, and unsustainable production and development.
