At the UVic School of Environmental Studies research-inspired teaching and dynamic experiential learning opportunities are inextricably linked to our extraordinary location on the edge of the Pacific Rim. Students turn knowledge into action. From field schools aboard a schooner in the Salish Sea to developing community action plans as part of the Redfish School of Change or working on local ecological restoration projects, students make an impact on real issues affecting local and international communities.
