Description
The Environmental Studies Program connects science with study of the historical, social, ethical, legal and political issues that affect our natural world and how we interact with it. The Minor will explore topics such as environmental chemistry, conservation, protection and economics, while providing a broad education in the social sciences and humanities.A degree in environmental studies can be used for careers in government, the nonprofit sector, law and business. Our graduates have pursued opportunities within universities, Departments of Ecology and Natural Resources, Parks and Wildlife, municipalities and many environmental organizations.
