The mission of the Programs for Sustainable Planning and Development is to provide a professionally-oriented education to a student body with diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds. Both the program in City and Regional Planning and the program in Sustainable Environmental Systems focus on participatory planning and sustainable development, while stressing an interdisciplinary approach.
