Description

The Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) Masters in Business Administration at the College of Business will equip you with the tools and network to become a global social entrepreneur, where the bottom lines are people, planet and profit. This concentration is in the business of creating a better world, improving the lives of people, while building profitable ventures. The GSSE Program seeks to provide sustainable enterprise solutions to some of the most stubborn issues of our time including poverty, disease, malnutrition and environmental degradation. We do that by graduating students with the appropriate training, experience and character necessary to create and operate for-profit and nonprofit startups, nongovernmental organizations, and to work in multinational companies that champion social and environmental objectives while delivering solid returns on investment. We admit a new cohort of 25 students each year, half of whom come from abroad. A recent cohort featured students from Ghana, Iraq, Moldova, India, Nepal, Venezuela, Mongolia, Brazil, Ecuador and, of course, the United States. GSSE students support each other, work in cohort through the entire program and develop lifelong friendships and professional networks.
