Description
This is a research-oriented degree intended for full-time students. Although courses may be taken on a part-time basis, a minimum of one year of full-time residency is typically required for completion of the doctoral dissertation. A master's degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, or related fields is usually required. Highly qualified students with bachelor's degrees in these fields may also be accepted directly into the doctoral program.
