Sustainability in the Urban Environment (MS)
The City College of New York
Description
The Sustainability Masters degree program consists of 30 credits of coursework. All students who successfully complete the program requirements receive a Master of Science in Sustainability degree from CUNY/The City College of New York. As a rule, earning the degree requires at least three semesters of full-time study (beginning in Fall or Spring), and more for those who study part-time. Costs of the program will differ depending on whether a student is a New York state resident or nonresident. The tuition rates that apply are those designated "Masters in Engineering" in the CCNY schedule of tuition and fees. Courses are offered both online and in person with most students operating in a hybrid capacity (with occasional in person learning, but a majority online). Students may complete the Degree fully online and in a synchronous distance-learning format, with the exception of International Students who must complete the vast majority of coursework in person depending on Visa requirements. Students wishing to complete the majority of the Degree in person on the CCNY Campus in Harlem may also do so. Most applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or in the sciences from an accredited US college or university. International applicants and applicants with degrees in other fields (e.g. environmental studies or social sciences) are also encouraged to apply.
