Description

The Sustainability Leadership Certificate (SLC) at Colorado Mountain College includes three foundational courses and two elective courses, allowing students to focus on specific sustainability areas such as sustainable food systems, economics, social entrepreneurship, environmental humanities, cultural equity, and ecology. Students at the Vail Valley at Edwards campus can also choose electives from the Sustainable Cuisine program. The certificate, aimed at enhancing students' ability to contribute to sustainable practices within their communities, can increase earning potential and prepare individuals for careers in sustainability. Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree and completion of the courses within three years. The certificate is offered at select campuses and may require travel between sites
