Description
Humber’s Sustainability Stream is expected to accelerate a student’s academic journey towards a career in Sustainability. Students in the Sustainability Stream will: - Have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership throughout the campus community by working as Sustainability Ambassadors with Humber’s Office of Sustainability. - Be provided with work-related and learning opportunities at the Humber Arboretum and Centre for Urban Ecology and gain Co-Curricular Record experiences in sustainability. - Expand their foundational knowledge of social equity and sustainability, earn academic credits, and gain exposure to green careers and the educational paths needed to secure a job in the green sector. Students who complete the Sustainability Stream will be recognized with a Humber Sustainability Stream Certificate of Completion in addition to their General Arts and Science certificate or diploma.
