International Climate Negotiations and Policy (Master) (Certificate)
Université de Sherbrooke
Description
The Graduate Microprogram in International Climate Negotiations and Policy provides an in-depth understanding of international climate negotiations and international climate change policy and issues, both for those already in the workforce and for students who wish to specialize in the increasingly strategic area of climate issues for many organizations. This program offers two possible paths: • A theoretical and field pathway, where the student participates in the annual Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) • A theoretical and practical pathway, where the student takes part in the simulation of an international climate negotiation, or in the realization of a research-partnership mandate related to international climate negotiations
