Students in with this degree learn about Native Hawaiian Land Management systems, the value of water, the devastating ecological effects of the continued American occupation, the ties between language to the land, the ties between religion to the land, and the overall understanding that Hawaiian Culture is heavily influenced by being good stewards of their home.
