Description
The Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies program at UC Riverside offers a social justice approach to environmental sustainability and climate change. This interdisciplinary degree program explores interactions between human activity and environmental changes. The coursework explores the intersectional ways in which sustainability is a gendered issue that affects certain populations around the world differently from others. This program prepares students for diverse career paths in health care, public service, public policy, education, and more. Students will learn the research methods, analytical tools, social theories, scientific approaches and literacy, and interdisciplinary training necessary to thrive in a sustainability-related career or graduate degree program.
