Description

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers interdisciplinary graduate programs led by expert faculty with connections to leading companies, utilities, and agencies in the greater D.C. area and beyond. The Master of Science degree is awarded after the completion of 30 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students are also required to obtain a B- or better in all technical core courses. Specific requirements may vary depending on whether a student pursues the thesis or non-thesis option, but a final comprehensive exam is required for all students.
