This interdisciplinary minor is open to students in all majors. It is valuable to students preparing for careers in elementary and secondary education, scouting, adventure programming, youth and community groups, nature centers, state and national parks and organized outdoor camping programs. The minor is organized around a core group of courses and allows students to select one of the following specialized “tracks”: environmental education and interpretation, outdoor pursuits or organized camping.
