The Ohio State University
Description
Environmental Engineers work with government, industry and private groups to design and implement projects to improve the environment and public health. They address topics such as wastewater management, solid waste disposal, bioremediation and overall, environmental sustainability.
All new students, including transfer students, admitted to the College of Engineering, are classified as pre-major students. Transition to major student status generally occurs in the second year of studies and after formal application to the student's program of interest.
