Description

Future Generations University Promotes Research Learning and Action for Inclusive and Sustainable Change Worldwide. The university offers a program in applied community development with a flexible learning environment. Students choose one of five professional specializations, allowing them to focus their degree around their interests and career goals. Students can study full-time and finish in 20 months or spread out the degree over three or four years to fit their work and personal life.

The Future Generations University learning process is made up of: Learning From Work Experience – students tailor each community lab assignment to what advances them and their community. Online Courses – connects students face-to-face with their classmates as they work together around the world. * Field Experiences – students travel to powerful learning sites in different parts of the world for two-week experiences and connect face-to-face with their classmates

After graduating, students become members of the Future Generations Global Network and have access to grants, continuing learning and professional connections to alumni around the world.

Learning Outcomes

Students completing the program will: have skills that equip them to advance both themselves and their community have a network of classmates, alumni, continued learning opportunities, and resources to help them with their work
