The option in Environmental Law is intended for students wishing to obtain a specialization in the growing field of environmental law and policy. The Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa has one of the largest concentrations of environmental law professors and courses of any law school in Canada, and is home to numerous institutions, such as the Centre for Environmental Law and Global Sustainability, the Ecojustice Legal Clinic, the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, Sustainable Prosperity. The programme and the institutions create opportunities for mentorship and getting involved in law reform, litigation and policy work relating to environmental law.
