Description

The Graduate Certificate in Energy is offered by the Rutgers Energy Institute to graduate students in a large variety of graduate programs at Rutgers. During the program, students are required to take graduate-level courses in energy, discussed through a variety of disciplines. Students are encouraged the take courses in a variety of different disciplines to provide the most well-rounded education. Students graduating from this program will have a greater understanding for the current state of and the problems facing energy and energy innovation in the modern world.

Learning Outcomes

The certificate program is geared towards preparing students for work in industry, government, or academia with respect to energy and energy innovation. Through the multidisciplinary approach of the program, students will be equipped with the skills necessary to deconstruct and analyze energy problems, and then consider potential sustainable solutions.
