Description
The Certificate requires students to complete four courses, mainly from the Policy, Planning, and Management (PPM) department of the Graduate program at USM, in order to attain the certificate either as a stand-alone achievement or as part of the Master's in PPM program. The Certificate focuses on environmental, land use, and community planning, as well as economic development and regional sustainability. Government careers, as well as nonprofits and sustainability planning careers are additionally highlighted. In total, the certificate program requires 12 credits.
