Description

The program is designed for full-time and aspiring sustainability professionals, who wish to develop their skills in Earth systems observation, analysis, projection, and environmental remediation.

The program requires the completion of 36 points (12 courses). It is offered as both a full- and part-time course of study. Courses are held primarily in the evenings, and the degree can be completed without daytime courses. The program is designed to enable part-time students to maintain full-time employment while enrolled in the program.

Students are early- and mid-career professionals, with backgrounds in engineering, math, or science. They want to help organizations better understand and address environmental impacts and the systemic risks that arise from environmental change.

Graduates will be technical practitioners, who know environmental science, modeling, and engineering, but who are not research experts in any of those areas. Their job and the goal of this new program is to bring these disciplines together to address sustainability problems.
