Description

The Sustainability Technologies program is designed to prepare students to meet the challenges of the new energy economy. The program’s three focus areas – Sustainability, Renewable Energy, and Buildings – overlap to provide a technology-oriented and certification-based platform of training.

Course work includes energy use, sustainability, water quality, water use, waste and recycling, environmental technology, business sustainability, electricity, photovoltaics, solar thermal, wind, hydroelectricity, site assessment, construction, green building, building science, energy modeling, energy management, energy auditing, and safety. The program places a priority on hands-on training.
