Description

The Postgraduate Certificate in Ecological Survey Techniques is a part-time programme comprising a series of online modules, an intensive study week in Oxford and field projects based in students'own locations. The five-week online modules can be taken anywhere in the world and use international case studies to illustrate practice. They can also be taken individually as short courses for professional development and training, with an option for academic credit.

For professionals working in: biodiversity planning; education in environmental science; environmental consultancy, field research, impact assessment and records management; nature and wildlife conservation; countryside and wildlife management; and those in business and industry, regional government, NGOs and the voluntary sector with a career interest in environmental conservation practice, and in particular ecological survey techniques.
