Description
The B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering focuses on the fundamentals of environmental and water resources engineering with recommended tracks in geo-environmental, surface water hydrology and remote sensing, surface and groundwater water quality, groundwater hydrology, and air quality. Many of the required courses in the program are interdisciplinary drawing from the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics, Environmental Science, Physics, and Biology. The PSU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has 9 faculty and research faculty in the environmental and water resources area. Their research focuses on the natural environment - rivers, lakes, reservoirs, estuaries, near coastal waters, and groundwater aquifers.
