Johns Hopkins University exceeded its goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 51% by 2025 several years early through a long-term agreement with Constellation. The solar agreement is the largest among Maryland-based institutions and resulted in the development of a new solar facility, known as the Skipjack Solar Center, which provides the university with 250,000 MWh of clean power annually meeting two-thirds of its electricity demand.
